Schommy is by far the best teacher to go to for facing off!!! He's taken me under his wing and molded me to having the hand speed, balance, technique, and power that I have today. I've been working with him for the past few years now and I can tell you this, he knows more about facing off then anyone I know and he's always thinking up ways to improve your moves, make you work harder, and be faster to become the best at the X. I know if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be where I am today. He has helped me get into my college on top of helping me with my faces offs. He's the type of person that will bend over backwards for you and wont ask for anything in return. If you want to be the best at the X and set yourself apart from all the other fogos and are ready to know everything you possible can then he's the best man for the job!!!
It's simple: if you want to see a rise in your win percentage, go train with Schommy! Within weeks, Schommy will convince you that going down on one knee is the best option. He's going to dramatically increase your hand speed and reaction time. You're going to hear moves like the "crocodile" and the "flee-flicker". Your technique will improve, and soon enough, face-offs become more like muscle memory and if you do everything he says, winning becomes nearly automatic. It's true when he says that you can control the game at the X. A good face-off man can be the difference in a game. It's a speciality position that's gaining more and more hype in both the high school and college game. I've been working with Schommy since my sophomore year and he's played such a large role in getting me where I am today. Just going to his clinics helps improve your game, since your getting reps with some of the best face-off talent out there. Lacrosse is a such a fun game, but also has the ability to get you in a school that you might not necessarily get into with just your grades. Schommy with help you get there. He thinks very highly of his players who are dedicated and train hard. He was such a help to me and I strongly suggest to anyone who's interested on facing-off to try training with him. You won't be disappointed.

Schommy is not only the foremost expert on face-offs, but one of the best coaches and teachers I have been around. Before I started working with Schommy on a weekly basis, there was no chance I was going to play college lacrosse. I started with him when I was a sophomore and by the time I was a junior, I was being recruited everywhere to play Division I lacrosse. He takes the time to work on details, gives each player individual attention, and knows how to foster a competitive environment to challenge players. Its also the most fun I’ve had playing lacrosse. Being older now, I work any faceoff camp I can to try and proliferate the lessons Schommy has taught me. He will get you to reach your potential and you will enjoy every second of it.chommy is not only the foremost expert on face-offs, but one of the best coaches and teachers I have been around. schommy is by far the coach I owe the most gratitude to. He is responsible for the player I am today and where I am going next year.
Without Schommy's knowledge and skillfull training I would not have been able to reach my goal to be a D1 Lacrosse player. At a time when I was not getting many reps in practice and in games on my highschool team, I was able to work out with the best kids and best coach in the Country.
He has taught me everything I know about facing off and I am still learning what is required to be a dominant faceoff man. Before I met schommy I was not recieving many looks as a D1 faceoff guy, he took my game to a whole other level and I am happy to say it is all because of him. He is by far the best man for the job and I can't say enough about what he has done for me.
